About this course
One-on-one private instruction is available. You pick the training topic, and DMEC designs the training course around it.
Pick an area you want to get better in and let Jared work with you. DMEC also offers private group training; email DMEC to inquire about group or one-on-one sessions.

Prerequisites
- Published rate: $250 minimum. Confirm availability and total cost with DMEC.
Before you attend
- You must be 21 years of age, a legal US citizen, and able to possess a firearm under state and federal law. Illinois residents must hold a valid FOID card.
- Students under 21 may attend when a parent or guardian also attends the class as a student.
- Classes are shot on DMEC’s private outdoor range about 20 minutes west of Rockford, rain or shine. Check the forecast the day before and dress for the weather.
- Every student signs a waiver of liability before class starts.
What to bring
- The firearm, holster, and magazines for the topic you choose, plus eye and ear protection.
- Ammunition: agree the round count with Jared when you book.
