About this course
From baseline to accelerated fundamentals, low light, injured shooter, and everything in between, DMEC provides end-user training in pistol, rifle, red dot transition, CQB, and applied firearms performance.
DMEC’s officer training is structured to reflect patrol realities while reinforcing policy compliance and sound use-of-force decision-making. Training blocks emphasize threat discrimination, accountability for rounds fired, positional problem-solving, and communication under stress, with performance standards that are measurable, documented, and repeatable.
DMEC works directly with command staff and training coordinators to develop programs aligned with departmental directives, accreditation standards, and operational objectives. Closed courses are arranged per department; DMEC also tries to schedule two or three open-enrollment law enforcement training days each training year.
