About this course
Patrol Rifle Instructor is part of DMEC’s instructor development program for officers who will teach and oversee their department’s patrol rifle training. The most recent course ran over four days through MTU 4 in Galesburg.
DMEC’s instructor courses extend beyond shooting proficiency. They prepare trainers to build defensible lesson plans, document training, conduct in-service programs, manage agency firearms programs, remediate deficiencies, and control live-fire risk.
Whether your agency is enhancing patrol rifle capability or building a new instructor cadre, the course supports policy integration, training documentation, and long-term liability mitigation.
