Below are gear list for each of our classes. Not having the proper and suggested gear for class will not let you keep pace with the class. If you have specific questions regarding gear, please send an email

Proficient Pistol
  • Your defensive pistol. Either what you carry for concealed carry, duty, or what you have for a home defense gun.
  • Belt mounted single or double magazine holster.
  • Quality belt mounted holster, with a quality belt. Strong side, belt mounted holsters are preferred due to the amount of draws and holster repetitions we will do. Appendix Carry is only allowed with prior approval. No Vanguard or SERPA style holsters
  • Minimum of 2 magazines, but 3 are strongly recommended. If you have smaller capacity magazine (6-8 round) you may want to bring 4 or 5 magazines.
  • 5 dummy rounds (snap caps) of your caliber
  • 300 rounds of ammo minimum, 350 recommended.
  • Eye and ear protection. Electronic ear protection is recommended.
  • Proper range attire. Shoes must be close toed. Ball caps recommended.
  • Lawn chair and packed lunch. Sunscreen and bug spray
Dynamic Pistol Movement and Close Quarters Pistol
  • Your defensive pistol. Either what you carry for concealed carry, duty, or what you have for a home defense gun.
  • Belt mounted single or double magazine holster.
  • Your daily concealed carry holster. Something that is belt mounted and secure. No Vanguard or SERPA style holsters
  • Minimum of 2 magazines, but 3 are strongly recommended. If you have smaller capacity magazine (6-8 round) you may want to bring 4 or 5 magazines.
  • 350 rounds of ammo minimum, 400 recommended.
  • Eye and ear protection. Electronic ear protection is recommended.
  • Proper range attire. Shoes must be close toed. Ball caps recommended.
  • Lawn chair and packed lunch. Sunscreen and bug spray
Rifle 1 & 2
  • AR15 or AK47 variant rifle. Iron sights, red dot, or low power variable optic. Please have rifle sighted in before class. We will be able to make minor adjustments but will not have time to zero every gun.
  • Single or double point rifle sling
  • Pistol with belt mounted holster. Holster can be out of the waistband (preferred) or concealed. We will use this for weapon transitions. 
  • Minimum of 2 magazines, but 3 are strongly recommended.
  • AR mag carrier or a way to carry a spare magazine on your person. This can be belt or vest/carrier mounted.
  • 300 rounds of ammo minimum, 350 recommended. 50 rounds of pistol ammunition. NO GREEN TIP AMMUNITION.
  • Eye and ear protection. Electronic ear protection is recommended.
  • Chest rigs, plate carriers, and/or body armor can be run but are not required. If you have them, this is a great class to start getting reps in them.
  • Proper range attire. Shoes must be close toed. Ball caps recommended.
  • Lawn chair and packed lunch, to include hydration. Sunscreen and bug spray.
  • Positive attitude and open mind for learning.
Defensive Red Dot Pistol
  • A red dot equipped pistol. We have rental red dot guns for $30/day, ammunition not included. They are all 9mm.
  • Belt mounted single or double magazine holster.
  • Quality belt mounted holster, with a quality belt. Strong side, belt mounted holsters are preferred due to the amount of draws and holster repetitions we will do. Concealed carry holsters are also appropriate. No Vanguard or SERPA style holsters
  • Minimum of 2 magazines, but 3 are strongly recommended. If you have smaller capacity magazine (6-8 round) you may want to bring 4 or 5 magazines.
  • 300 rounds of ammo minimum, 350 recommended.
  • Eye and ear protection. Electronic ear protection is recommended.
  • Microfiber glass cleaner
  • Tool for optic adjustment. We have several tools on hand to adjust optics for windage and elevation. Some optics take proprietary tools that we may not have, so bringing the one included with your optic will help.
  • Proper range attire. Shoes must be close toed. Ball caps recommended.
  • Lawn chair and packed lunch. Sunscreen and bug spray
Vehicle Dynamics
  • Your defensive pistol. Either what you carry for concealed carry, duty, or what you have for a home defense gun. Additionally, rifles may be run as shooter preference during various drills over the two day class. Bring a rifle, sling, and 1 rifle magazine if you would like to take advantage of that.
  • Belt mounted single or double magazine holster.
  • A belt mounted or concealed carry holster. Something that is belt mounted and secure. No Vanguard or SERPA style holsters
  • Minimum of 2 magazines, but 3 are strongly recommended. If you have smaller capacity magazine (6-8 round) you may want to bring 4 or 5 magazines.
  • 650 rounds of ammo minimum, 700 recommended.
  • Eye and ear protection. Electronic ear protection is recommended.
  • Knee pads are required, elbow pads are strongly recommended. 
  • Proper range attire. Shoes must be close toed. Ball caps recommended.

Concealed Carry 16 hour and 3 hour renewal
  • A pistol or revolver (unless renting)
  • Pen and paper
