TRAINING SHOOTERS, BUILDING SKILLS, PREPARING FOR THE UNTHINKABLE

DMEC Training & Consulting is a firearms training company based out of Rockford, Illinois. We are located 90 minutes from the Chicagoland area, as well as only 90 minutes from Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We offer classes for Illinois and Florida concealed carry licenses, advanced pistol and rifle training, law enforcement training, and youth classes.

We also offer consulting in church and business security, as well as active shooter training. We shoot at a private, outdoor range 20 minutes west of Rockford. We are also fully mobile and can be hosted at your local range, club, or department.

Open Enrollment

Our open enrollment courses are open for sign ups by both civilians and law enforcement. We offer a variety of classes, and we can be hosted at your range. We can also host private range events for business and corporate events at our home range.

Law Enforcement Training

Closed law enforcement only training is available for individual departments or MTU's throughout the state. These classes are certified through ILETSB (Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board) for officer credit. Some of our available courses are Basic Firearms Instructor, Patrol Rifle Instructor, Intro to Red Dot Pistol, Red Dot Pistol Instructor, Low Light Concepts, and more. MTU references available upon request. These courses can also be POST certified for other states.

Church Security Consulting

We offer consulting and training for houses of worship and businesses. Whether your church is looking for a written, on site threat assessment, or training for a church security team, we are the experts in this field! With training blocks on building a church safety team, situational awareness, emergency medical care, de-escalation, active shooter, and more, let us help get your team properly trained and operating with industry best practices. Grant options are available for houses of worship. Contact us for more details.

October 21-24. 2024 - Patrol Rifle Instructor. Galesburg, IL - This is a closed course for LE only. Sign up through MTU4. This course is ILETSB certified.

October 31-November 2, 2024 - Pecatonica, IL - lllinois Concealed Carry Course, 16 hour and 3 hour renewal.

Noveber 6-7, 2024 - Red Dot Pistol Instuctor. Rockford, IL - This is a closed course for LE only. Sign up through MTU2. This course is ILETSB certified.

November 9th, 2024 - Woman's Only Self Defense Course - Rockton, IL

February 10-11, 2025 - Red Dot Pistol Instructor. O'Fallon, MO. This is a closed course for LE only. This course is POST Certified.
